"He is not here: for he is risen..."
Matthew 28:6 (KJV)
Imagine the look on Mary Magdalene's face when she got to the tomb. When they arrived, there was suddenly a great earthquake, and an angel of the Lord descended from Heaven, and rolled back the stone of the tomb, and then sat on it.
Mary must have been stunned. But the angel of the Lord said, 'Fear not, for I know that ye seek the Lord, which was crucified. He is not here. He is risen.'
That statement alone guarantees Christians everywhere eternal life. But it also means that Jesus defeated all worldly power and all worldly authority.
Do you walk in the Power of those words - He is Risen?
These three words carry with it more power than we could ever comprehend, and that is why we celebrate Easter! Our King lives, and sits in Victory at His Father's Right Hand. We can walk in that Victory as well in all that we do, but we must embrace the Power of the Cross, and the Power of His Resurrection. He is Risen... simply means that we can rise to any height we want in life, with His Power, His Love, and His Eternal Grace.
Father, we thank You for the Cross and Easter. We Praise You for the walking out of the tomb,and giving us eternal life and Your Power of Victory. Help us to walk Father in Victory. We ask that You shine Your Light of Success in our lives today, In Jesus' Name, Amen.
