" For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him." Jesus had a way of saying things. And this Scripture is about the parable of the talents- one of the Greatest Success Lessons in the Bible. It is about 3 men, each one given a talent. One gave back 10 talents, another 5 talents, and then there was the 1 talent servant. The servant took it and laid it up in a napkin!!! The master was not happy with the 1 talent servant.
But there is a part of the Scripture that many people miss- in verse 21- 'thou reapest where thou did not sow.' That is called God's Favor, and Power upon this man. So naturally he wanted a return on his money! He wanted to bless God! Christ spoke the words of this weeks' verse, and what He was talking about is the faith to take action upon your talent. What talent do you have that God has given you - that you have hidden? God expects us to ACT- even in unsure circumstances, so He may bless you! Success in Jesus is about total faith in Him to come through for you, with the talent that He has given you. Holy Father, we thank You for the talents You have given us to Succeed with, and we bless Your Holy Name with it. Help us to multiply our gift back to You of Success... and Shine the Light of Your Success on our lives today. In Jesus' Name, Amen. blessings... Doug Firebaugh |
